Golden Rules are “Game-Changers” for Monica’s Hairdressing Business
Name of Business: BellayNatural
Nature of Business: Comprehensive Beauty and Hairdressing Services
Location: Manta, Ecuador
Monica Cedeño started her beauty and hairdressing business, BellayNatural, seven years ago with just 20 clients in her living room. What began as a modest operation has now flourished into a comprehensive center that serves both men and women.
Her journey was not without challenges. Monica faced limited resources, financial difficulties, and a lack of space for her work. In addition, “Managing time between home, children, and the business was a significant challenge,” Monica says. Despite all of this, Monica’s faith and determination propelled her forward.
In 2023, Monica discovered the Academy, where she gained valuable insights into finance, emotional intelligence, and the “golden rules” of business. Keeping good records, paying yourself a fair wage, and treating people for who they are, not what they can give you, were game-changers for her and shaped the success of her business as she applied these principles to BellayNatural.
Today, BellayNatural operates out of a fully renovated location, offering a wide range of beauty services. With a growing customer base of 400 clients per month, Monica continues to introduce new services, ensuring that her business evolves to meet the needs of her community.
Monica shares, “Having the knowledge as a daughter of God that I have divine potential and having faith and hope for a better future has driven and sustained me through this long process. I know that without the help of my Heavenly Father, everything we have achieved would not have been possible, as He forms the center of our home. He has provided the tools, and I have used them. Having the blessing of our Heavenly Father has been the most important factor in the growth of my business.”
Monica knows that, with God’s guidance, her hard work and vision will continue to prosper. Monica explains, “My story is proof that we can achieve the things we set out to do, always with the help of our Heavenly Father.”
