Alicia’s Business Grows from Selling 5 Smoothies to 100 a Month

Alicia began to dream of her business five years ago. She even designed the logo, but she was afraid to move forward because she believed she needed a lot of startup money. In August 2023, she learned about an Academy course that would help her start her own business.

The Academy taught her she could begin with what she had. Alicia started searching on the internet for how to make smoothies. She bought the basics she needed and started selling smoothies at a local fair. At that first fair, she sold only five smoothies, but for her, this was a huge achievement. This encouraged her to move forward. Her business now averages 100 packages sold each month.

Business registration is very challenging in Paraguay. Alicia continues to work on completing the health registration, which will allow her to register her brand. Her sales will go toward the cost of that final registration.

“In a short time, I have achieved so many things with so little capital that I am surprised,” says Alicia. “I am eternally grateful to the Academy for helping me with my vision.”
